today; July 5th. Leaving here in 6 days. Yesterday? July 4th. Read a speech Frederick Douglas gave in Rochester and an E.B. White essay from the New Yorker magazine from the 40’s on Democracy. Went to a party; fun and no mention of Independence. This is the first ever BLOG post by me.
